NUGEX

The NERSC User Group Executive Committee (NUGEX) serves as an advisory body for the NERSC Users Group (NUG). NUG represents more than 10,000 users of the center and aims to support users through regular meetings and other channels.

Role

I am a current member of the NUGEX group and have been serving for a couple years. I have been a NERSC user for more than 20 years and have a long-term perspective of how policies at the center have evolved over time. I also have first-hand experience with the challenges and opportunities of using NERSC to extract cutting-edge science results. This background helps me serve as a useful contact point on NUGEX between NERSC staff and HEP experiments using the center.
